Jürgen Eisenacher’s work explores the relationship between colonialism and migration from Africa to Europe. His drawings explore what he finds in the disturbing links between contemporary global traffic of people and the old African slavery routes of colonial times.
Jürgen Eisenacher was born in Frankfurt, Germany and now lives and works in Berlin. He has exhibited at the National Museum of Lavafeld, Berlin (2008), UFO UNO, Frankfurter Kunstverein, Frankfurt (2006) and Galerie Konsortium, Düsseldorf, Germany amongst others.
