Zineb Sedira’s works employs video, photography, text and installation to investigate issues of representation, language, memory, mobility and colonial legacies often using her family and landscape.
Zineb Sedira was born in Paris to Algerian parents and lives in London. She works between Paris, London and Algiers. Sedira has shown at the Venice Biennale, Tate Britain, London, the first ICP Triennial in New York, the Centre Pompidou, Paris, Hayward Gallery, London, the British Art Show 6, the Photographers Gallery, and the Sharjah Biennial 8, United Arab Emirates, amongst many others.
